Situated prominently behind the gates of the prestigious Rincon Point beach enclave, this gorgeous contemporary residence is a beautiful and spacious home, offering wonderful ocean, island, and mountain views from expansive rooms and balconies. A vast, private entertaining patio features a charming outdoor fire pit, BBQ, dining area, outdoor shower, and plenty of outdoor furnishings to help you entertain or relax. Just out the front door is a pathway leading straight to the legendary Rincon Point surf break.

South facing, this three bedroom home is suffused with light throughout the day. The living room features wonderful ocean and mountain views, plenty of comfortable seating for up to 10 adults, fireplace, and a lovely ocean view balcony inviting the fuller appreciation of the ocean breezes. The family room features wood floors, a balcony, home theater seating, and a stunning 3D flat screen television with a BOSE surround sound system. The dining room is connected to the ocean view balcony and can serve a large party with additional outdoor bar seating and gas BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped with gorgeous stainless steel appliances, microwave, and coffee maker--all of the comforts you would expect in a luxury home are provided.

Amenities & Accommodations

Sleeping Arrangements: The house can sleep up to 10 people.  Each bedroom has extra blankets and pillows in their respective closets. The two futons upstairs fold down into full-size beds.  The sheets and blankets for these beds are located upstairs in the closet. The large sofas in the media/entertainment room are great for extra sleeping as well. Please leave any used sheets/pillow cases in the laundry room and return everything else to its original location upon your departure.

Linens, Towels, and Sundries:  Beach towels are located at the entry and in the laundry room closet.Towels for showering are in each bathroom. Please remove all sand from towels/clothes before washing and please wash the white towels separately.  There are extra sundry items for your use under the sink in the master bathroom.

Kitchen: The kitchen is very well stocked; there is ample dishware and glassware.  For best tasting coffee, clean caked-in coffee grounds from grinder area each time you make coffee.  Dishwasher set on “Normal”and push button on the far right.

The Beach and Beach Toys: Rincon is known for its world-class surf break.  The gate code for beach access is located in the information book at the home, please refer to the Rincon Point map for beach access points.  The outdoor shed in the patio contains life jackets, wetsuits, coolers, spare sunglasses, patio chair cushions, boogie boards and balls. Surf’s up!

Parking:  Please park in the main driveway on Puesta Del Sol, there is enough parking for 4 cars,side-by-side one in front of the other. There is one additional gravel driveway parking space on Buena Fortuna.  You must use the guest-parking placard if you park off our driveways; illegally parking elsewhere may get you towed.

Trash:  Trash bins are located in the side yard on the west side of the property; trash and recycling cans are labeled.  Trash pick-up is every Thursday with recycling every other Thursday.  When you leave, please do not leave any trash inside the home or on the ground around the bins.

Laundry Room: The laundry room is located downstairs near the main entry.  Laundry detergent is not provided, but feel free to use any that is available. After using the washing machine, please leave the door open to prevent moisture collection.

BBQ and Patio Area: There are three BBQ’s on the property, one gas upstairs on the balcony and two on the downstairs patio. The BBQ upstairs is connected directly to the gas line, no propane refills necessary.  There are supplies downstairs in plastic containers supporting the glass top.

Emergencies/Issues: Please contact the office at (805) 969-1122 for any issues related to your stay.  Fire extinguishers are under the kitchen sink and in the laundry room closet.  First aid supplies are in the large bottom drawer in the master bath. If you need medical assistance dial 911 from your mobile phone or contact the Carpinteria Police department at (805) 684-4561.

Cleaning Supplies: There are some cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink and there are spare paper products, mops/broom and a vacuum in the upstairs hall closet.

Heating and Cooling: The easiest way to cool the house is open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze while the home does not have an A/C unit.  The thermostat for heating the home is located downstairs across from the pilot room and there is a gas fireplace in the upstairs living room as well.

Technology and Entertainment: The home has wireless Internet. The home features a wonderful 3D television, Direct TV, Bose surround sound, Netflix and TVIX for movies as well as a small selection of 3D DVD’s and regular DVD’s below the television. There are four pairs of 3D glasses available, with an on/off switch on each pair.

Entertainment Instructional

Turn on the TV and DIRECTV box using the DIRECTV remote control,making sure the selector is on the DIRECTV symbol.

Turn on BOSE speakers using the DIRECTV remote in AV1 mode, use the middle “on” button, or use BOSE remote control

Turn on Blue Ray DVD player using control in AV position, middle “on”button, or use large Samsung remote

Use the TV INPUT button on the DIRECTV remote to change the source/input feed: HDMI4 is for TVIX box which contains over one hundred movies, DIRECTV, Blue Ray, use the Samsung control SMART HUB button to access Netflix streaming.
